The oldest Christian graveyard discovered in Sweden from 800... Free admission and also a free guided tour worth to take part in. Some of the founds and the recreation of Kata are found in the city so not here which is a shame.

I got married in the abbey next store and my husband used to walk his dog on the knoll where Kata was discovered. It is nice to feel so close to history and visit such an interesting site. I will warn you though; after managing to get my elderly, archeology loving, relative up the long hill in a wheel chair, he and his wife couldn't enjoy the full exhibit because they felt too nervous to cross over the glass floor inside.

A small but very good exhibition. Built on top of what us perhaps Sweden's oldest church. Short texts in English and German will aid the international visitors.
